Check out the hours your councillors put in!

Did you know you can now keep an eye on just how much work your councillor does for you?
Timesheet for Councillor Motin Uz-Zaman (June 2010)

A relatively recent development on the Tower Hamlets Council's website means that it now has links to timesheets documenting what every councillor does - each month -  in terms of time spent on:
  • at the surgery
  • on casework
  • on Paperwork, Reading & Telephone Calls
  • at Council Meetings
  • at Council Committee Meetings
  • at meetings with Councillors
  • at Local Area Partnership Meetings
  • at meetings of external bodies eg EastendHomes
  • at tenants/residents meetings
  • at Community Events
  • at Labour Party Group meetings
  • at Training sessions
  • on Mayoral duties  (Councillor Motin Uz-Zaman only)
  • on Cabinet duties (Councillor Rachael Saunders May-October only)
Just click the link to the timesheets and choose which month you want to look at.
The number of months available relate to the number of months they have been a councillor.

The timesheet page each month also documents
  • how many surgeries they attended and
  • how many cases they dealt with in the month.

  1. Recent? That's been available for several years.

  2. Really? Well we've been looking at councillor profiles for yonks and hadn't noticed it before

It's also still relevant for all the other local residents who hadn't noticed it either! :)
